Supply of 160 ready-built AC sleeper buses with comprehensive annual maintenance contracts (CAMC) and driver services for 7 years to Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation.
Scope of work
Procurement of 160 AC sleeper buses (rear engine, minimum length 13400mm) for GSRTC. Includes: initial supply of 20 buses to GSRTC Central Workshop in Ahmedabad (delivery within 135 days); Comprehensive Annual Maintenance Contract (CAMC) with driver provision for Years 1-7 (365 days each year). Bidders must meet Make in India (MII) local content requirements: Class 1 (50% local content) or Class 2 (20% local content). Only Class 1/Class 2 local suppliers eligible per MII Order 2017.
Eligibility criteria
- Class 1 or Class 2 local supplier per Public Procurement (Preference to Make in India) Order 2017
- Minimum 50% local content for Class 1; 20% for Class 2
- Micro and small enterprises allowed if meeting MII requirements
- Non-local suppliers per MII order 2017 not eligible
- MSE and Startup experience/turnover exemptions: Not granted

Two packet bid (technical + commercial). Total value-wise evaluation. Reverse Auction enabled for 50% lowest priced technically qualified bidders. RA conducted amongst top 50% bidders ranked by price.
