Gujarat government tenders by department

The Panchayats, Rural Housing and Rural Development Department administers Gujarat’s three-tier panchayati raj system, and its district panchayat R&B divisions are among the most prolific tendering bodies in the state. Their tenders cover rural roads, village buildings, water works, anganwadis and repair contracts in every district.

The Energy and Petrochemicals Department is the administrative department for Gujarat’s power sector, including GUVNL and its generation, transmission and DISCOM companies. Its tenders cover power-station works, transmission-line and substation material, metering and electrical services.

The Agriculture and Co-operation Department oversees farm extension, horticulture, seeds and the cooperative sector across Gujarat’s large farm economy. Its tenders cover seed and input supply, farm equipment, soil and lab services, godowns and scheme-linked works.
